Visited Aldi to take photos of portal construction but all is concealed. I've included some photos though because there seemed to be an inordinate number of downpipes (fed from a half round gutter) for one roof, at least compared to other portal constructions I've looked at. In terms of design the Aldi supermarkets, although not innovative, appear quite attractive in their simplicity. They have attractive proportions compared to some of the other lumpish looking supermarkets that blemish our landscape.
